Partners Forever is a watercolor on paper painting of a couple at a senior citizens center in Cienfuegos, Cuba demonstrating the El Son, a traditional Cuban dance. Since my wife and I participate in ballroom dancing, there was an emotional connection with this couple that I wanted to express in this painting.
