This is a watercolor on paper painting. We came across this man, late one afternoon, in Cienfuegos, Cuba sitting on a bench, with a bus ticket in his shirt pocket, while totally oblivious to the pedestrians and vehicles passing by him. I knew I would paint him after seeing the play of the afternoon light on him, as well as the pronounced muscular structure of his neck.
