Playing for Time

While looking for a reference photo, I decided to draw something new and dear to me. My daughter, Greta, was the perfect subject for my latest drawing. "Playing for Time" is done with coloured pencils on Pastelmat paper. I took a few pictures of her holding her favourite Jellycat plush, her expression was so gorgeous and it seemed like she was lost in her thoughts. What makes this portrait special to me is the knowledge that I am leaving a loving gift for her to cherish and remember my love for her forever.
