Being in the Naples park on a hot blistering day, I came across these canoes in the shade. I loved the way the cool blue shadows turned with the curved shape of the canoes creating a cooler feel to the day. Soft pastels on sanded paper was my choice of mediums as they layer very well to create the shadows on the canoes and in the sand.
