Steadfast

Horses are stoic creatures that will ground you even when you feel untethered. They are my source of strength in this world. I wanted to convey this feeling in this piece. It’s funny how I usually start a painting with an emotion and in process of painting it, it gives me a similar feeling and experience. There was so much strength I had to gather to hold on to while I let the paint go and have a mind of its own, trusting in myself and in my tools to follow my intuition.
