Sand Angel

While watching my grandson practice baseball at our recreation department park, this charming little guy started making angels in the sand below the slide. I climbed up on the slide and took some pictures then created this painting to capture that spontaneous moment. I did not know who he was when I displayed this painting in a local art association gallery. One of the children attending a class there recognized him and gave his name to her teacher. I called his mother and she immediately came to see it. She loved it and bought it.
