Going With The Flow

I was recently talking with my husband Gastone, trying to explain the various challenges and emotions involved in creating a painting. I was actually telling him about a painting I am working on that uses images of a beautiful duck I saw when taking a walk with him in nearby Balboa Park. The 14x18 duck painting I'm working on features the duck image, but I've also added elements from other scenes such as ducklings and grasses from a nearby drainage area and imaginative ripples and colors with which I am hoping convey movement. I'm thinking of calling it "Going With The Flow" which is pretty much what I have to do when I'm painting.
