Painted in the afternoon of September 19th at the Northern Virginia Plein Air groups event at the State Arboretum of VA, Blandy Farm. I was overwhelmed by the beauty and options of scenes to paint at Blandy Farm. I settled on this view and truly felt one with the landscape and road as I was painting. I was tempted to include a figure.
