To Ona
My friend and I went to Ona Beach to paint. The gale force winds on the beach were impossible, so we stayed at the tree-protected grassy approach, with the shrubby, sandy midway. Morning fog was still there but beginning to roll back and the sun came out. She picked the spot for her and her dog in the shade and I set up close by. I painted one of the paths to the beach, where no people were allowed due to restoration. Sometimes we do not get to paint what we planned, And that can turn out to be the best success.
