Riders From The Storm
Walked out to the beach after a major storm (not hurricane), and there was this shell, all alone on a little bump of sand. With the light near the end of the day, still glistening off the sand and casting a distinct shadow and an ambient glow. I added the little shell in the water for some lively company, as the wave broke revealing the next one behind it rolling in, almost covering the horizon from this very low point of view. The red and white buoy riding the swells coming in was announcing their arrival with its wave activated horn while catching the low sun's rays along with the roiling foam of the constantly crashing surf. Another inspiring experience of nature at the shore.
