"Cayman Sunset"

Painted in the Cayman Islands, this piece captures vibrant hues of a sunset following a passing storm. The sky was alive with deep purple clouds that stand in dramatic contrast to the warm golden glow of the sun's rays. I loved layering the cool purples and the soft warm greens reflected from the clouds into the ocean surface. Using a dry brush technique, I conveyed the subtle interplay of light and color that made this fleeting moment so special.
