The vineyard has been harvested for the last time. Remaining vines climbing the rustic weathered poles reaching for the sun. The path between leading to a distant corn field yet to be harvested. I painted most of this scene en plein air in 2 sessions with final touches in my studio. I paint on gessoed panels in oil with the majority done with my palette knife.
