Sunrise, June Lake is a pastel on paper inspired by a sunrise that lit up the whole mountain behind June Lake in California's eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. I have camped, hiked and painted on both the east and west sides of these mountains my whole life. They never ever fail to inspire me.
