Cormwall House in Spring

Painting of a white farmhouse in spring, in the hills of Connecticut. This was a commission, although I could paint whatever I wanted to. As I observed the house with the family cat and dogs enjoying the warm weather (sleeping and looking at me, wondering what was I doing in their yard) I knew that is what I would paint. That casual moment seemed so simple and real.
