Harmony Returns

Located on the San Andreas Fault, an abandoned wheat ranch is being reclaimed by nature, reminding us that we can't go against her but must strive for harmony with our Earth. The beauty of the wildflowers in the foreground and the carved, by earthquakes and streams, erosions in the mountains only accentuate the sense of the immense power, both violent and masculine and gentle and feminine, with which we have to make our peace as both are needed to live harmoniously on this Earth. As always, I created this work en plein air.
