Country Girls

My garden is full of hopeful flowers. Why are they so hopeful? They hope to float into my backyard on a breeze or be carried in by the birds nesting in the birdhouses or the squirrels running on the garage roof. If they land on the soil and germinate, they will grow in my backyard without fear of being labeled as weeds and ripped out of the ground. That's how these Tidy Tips and Shephard's Purses - Country Girls through and through - grew in my garden last year.
